The force stated that it had received a police report from the boy’s father, who informed officers that the infant was discovered unconscious at their residence in Tin Shui Wai.
On Sunday, the force reported that it received a call from the boy’s father at 7:15 a.m., who stated that the baby was found unresponsive in bed at their flat located in Tin Chung Court, Tin Shui Wai.
The infant was quickly taken to Tin Shui Wai Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Police confirmed they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
